Hello, I’m Geydi Patron: creator of this blog and owner of the South Florida Tropical Vacation rental house.

In this first post, I want to tell you a little about myself and why I have decided to start my own blog. I will also be telling you about what topics you can find in this blog and who it is aimed at. Let us begin!

How did South Florida Tropical Vacation and its blog come about?

I want to introduce myself and tell you a little about myself:

I am a Cuban-American who immigrated to the United States when i was barely 14 years old. Here I met my husband, and together we formed a beautiful family, to which our two children came. Yes, I am a mother of two little ones, and they are, in large part, the reason I started this blog; I will tell you why later.

South Florida Tropical Vacation was the first home we had as a family and where my first child was born. We lived there for almost 4 years and when it was time to move, we really had a hard time saying goodbye to it.

Although it was our family’s home, we always understood that this was a vacation home. The excellent location, its cozy living room and the pool area made this property a true tropical paradise.

So my husband and I decided not to sell the house and start renting it to those who wanted to enjoy a warm Florida experience.

This is how South Florida Tropical Vacation began: a rental house located in Florida for local and foreign tourists.

We created our website in February 2023 and advertised on vacation home rental platforms. We began to receive clients from different parts of the world, eager to make their stay at South Florida Tropical Vacation pleasant and welcoming.

So far we have served guests from Mexico, Colombia, Canada, Spain, as well as local tourists. Their experience at the house has always been satisfactory, which is why South Florida Tropical Vacation has become the perfect home for those who are away from home.

More than a year after the creation of our website, I wanted to launch my own blog to provide relevant information to those who want to visit Florida and rent a vacation rental house. Furthermore, the blog is a venture that will allow me to spend more time with my children and enjoy them more in their first years of life.

What is the South Florida Tropical Vacation blog about and who is it for?

In this blog you will find a lot of information about why you should choose Florida as your vacation destination, as well as those places that you should definitely not miss. I will also tell you my suggestions about the best restaurants, shops, cafeterias and recreation places for the little ones at home.

Of course, I will be offering you some tips on how to prepare your trip to Florida and what should not be missing in your luggage. I will also recommend some products from Amazon that I find very useful if you plan to travel to Florida.

And if you are one of those who prefer to stay in rental houses, in this blog I will offer you some tips to find the best place to stay. And without a doubt, I will show you our South Florida Tropical Vacation rental house much better so that you will fall in love with it, just as it happened to us and the other guests who have stayed there.
